I belive it should not be related to population. We need more a manageable CCM with Pro-active and knowledgeable people. The size as our other frineds says should be enough to have diveristy of ideas and fair representation but at the same time workable. Here in Afghanistan, we also have a huge one....

Our country is quite big 164.000 km2 (4-5 times the Netherlands), but not even 500.000 inhabitants
a) we downsized the CCM from 19 to 12
b) there is no money either to run operations especially to rural areas and the interior where care is needed most...
