I am a postgraduate doctoral research person working on diabetes mellitus in African communities. I am a research scientist and public health researcher. I have a considerable experience in teaching/lecturing, head of department, demonstrator, and support work in health and social care and National Health Services, UK. I am working towards engaging in a public health sector as my utmost goal is to improve the quality of lives and health status of communities, also to reduce prevalence of avoidable diseases/conditions. I have written and published scientific papers and abstracts. I have experience in speaking at international and national levels and am well traveled both in Europe and Africa. I Also have had privilege to serve as Head of Department in the Food and nutrition department while in Botswana and assistant head of department while I taught science in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. I have worked in the public health fraternity in Botswana, Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom where I reside currently. I am free to travel to any country in the world and can work anywhere globally in both developing and newly industrialized nations. My strongest area is research and teaching in public health/food and nutrition/and epidemiology. I am a middle aged and reasonably educated lady. I hold the following credentials: • Bachelor of Education (Honors) degree, (BEd Hons) • Post Graduate Diploma, (PGDip) • Masters’ degree (MSc) • Masters’ in Public Health (MPH). • A Doctorate pending (PhD). I am a mother of one daughter, a Christian, humble and soft spoken/polite by nature. I would classify myself as fairly intelligent lady with considerable professional and good track of academic record. I would like to work with an organization with strong interest in public health. As a scientist and public health researcher, I have affiliated myself with various scientific and public health journals of authority. I am also available for an interview should an organisation register interest in my credentials.
