Global Fund CCM policies
Country Coordinating Mechanisms (CCM) are central to the Global Fund's commitment to local ownership and participatory decision-making. The key principles behind CCMs have remained unchanged. CCM minimum requirements were introduced in 2005 to help improve governance, transparency and inclusiveness in their operations. As a result many CCMs have and continue to evolve to improve their own functions. With this in mind:
