Governance instruments

The CCM functions similarly to a board of directors, who are ultimately responsible for the actions and welfare of the institution. Overtime, many CCMs have evolved and developed various governance instruments to facilitate their work.

Q. Many CCMs have developed their governance instruments such as constitutions, terms of reference, by-laws, or operating procedures. How have these instruments helped your CCM to work more effectively?

Suggestions: your answers could include (but not be limited to), the difference of having these instruments in the way the CCM operates; how these instruments have enhanced CCM procedures; whether members of the CCM use these instruments for resolving issues or making informed decisions in a CCM; and others.
