Many CCMs have evolved over time in order to meet these demands in their local context. This not only means that management styles differ widely across the spectrum, but also the structure of the CCM as it strives to effectively manage grants, and promote valuable participation from all constituencies represented. As a result, many CCMs have established secretariats either within the Principal Recipient, National AIDS Authorities or have created completely independent secretariats
Q. What difference do you think this makes or can make in the way a CCM functions? If your CCM has a secretariat, what lessons can you share with other forum participants?
Suggestion: your answers could include (but not be limited to), describing how the structure has affected the operation of your own CCM; the efforts your CCM has made to address any challenges; what you think should be a reasonable structure of a CCM; and others.
