    Question

    scarls -  Feb 12, 2006

    Hi:

I'm trying to raise money for The Global Fund at small local events in the US and wondered if there was information for fundraisers on The Global Fund's website specifically:

    - Is it OK to use The Global Fund's branding. For example, if a local newspaper or magazine provides free advertising space, can an individual use the web image file and take advantage of this opportunity for The Global Fund? Perhaps a website page with official print images and website images (with links) would help.

    - For "official literature" at say a 10K race or a parade, is it ok just to print out relevent pages from The Global Fund's website pages and then distribute them. Again, perhaps a print brochure page in multiple languages.

    - Is it O.K. to collect money for The Global Fund? What rules/information/control does The Global fund need from collectors.

I ask this only because there are so many opportunities for fundraising, enabling grassroot volunteers to raise money might speed up this process would be huge, but also might expose The Global Fund brand in fundraising scams.

Anyway, I'd couldn't find any posts about this and would love to hear if anyone has thoughts.
    Smile
    Cheers!
