First of all, I must commend the fund for the consistent efforts in the fight against HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Tuberclosis.
I must say that the shift from the ad hoc supports to a more structured framework would actually not only help the fund reach out to donors more effectively but would also help track the donors better, especially in terms of acknowledgements and servicing.
Concerning other means by which the fund can improve the replenishment process, I guess some amount of money can be channelled into a big investment, say build a school, channel towards the buying and selling of a particular product. This will help improve sustainability and aslo help create employment; because people will be employed to manage these initiatives.
Another thing could be a more fixed and long-term partnership definition with the various donors. What I mean here is that instead of the donors making contributions as at when they are involved and when the need arrives, it could be stated in the partnership agreement that at every point in time, the donors are making a certain amount availbale for the fund. This will enable the fund predict or estimate what amount of money to expect at every point in time, without fear of redemption. At the same time, there has to be benefits for the donors, especailly in terms of promotions.
Thank you so much.
