The e-Forum 2008 is coming to an end next week on October 3^rd, and we would like to invite you to participate before the forum closes. We also take this opportunity to bring you an update of the latest discussions during the month of September. Þ      Week 1: With the majority of people on antiretroviral treatment being women (56% at the end of 2007*), should the Global Fund’s gender strategy focus more on men rather than concentrating on women and girls?

Þ      Week 2: Regarding the draft Gender Equality Strategy of the Global Fund, what are your comments and reactions to the “Strategic Questions” that this document raises?

Þ      Week 3: Is civil society being given a fair opportunity to participate in the CCM proposal development process? What could the Global Fund do to encourage countries to make this process more inclusive?

Þ      Week 4:How can the Global Fund better support civil society organizations that have been chosen as Principal Recipients by the CCM in their newly required responsibilities?

Þ      Week 5: What are your thoughts regarding the way in which the Secretariat of the Global Fund interacts with and facilitates communication among Global Fund stakeholders?

From April 21, participants in the e-Forum discussed different topics around gender, demand, implementation and partnerships.
