[4 to 11 August] Third discussion topic on partnerships

Locked Contact

This week on the e-Forum 2008 we continue discussing the theme of Partnerships and we would like to invite you to share your thoughts and experience on a new question (click on the question to participate): What should be the requirements for organizations beyond donor governments that contribute financial and other resources to the Global Fund?

Your answer could include (but does not have to be limited to): whether the Global Fund should or should not accept non-cash, in-kind goods and services in principle, such as health products (including pharmaceuticals), non-health products (e.g., vehicles), and professional services (e.g. financial management); whether specific standards of conduct should apply to private companies or other potential donors that support the Global Fund (e.g. organizations that pursue specific religious, cultural or political causes, such as faith-based organizations, membership organizations etc.) and what such standards should be; how conflicts of interest could best be avoided.

Last week's question

Whereas this week's discussions focus on the above topic, questions from previous weeks will remain open for newcomers to MyGlobalFund. Last week, participants in the forum discussed (click on the link below the question to participate): How can the Global Fund and partners help countries better use the broad support available from the Global Fund to strengthen health systems at the national and community level?

Thank you for your commitment to the fight against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria!
