[28 July to 4 August] Second week of discussions on partnerships

Locked Contact
This week on the e-Forum 2008 we continue discussing the theme of Partnerships and we would like to invite you to share your thoughts and experience on a new question (click on the question to participate): How can the Global Fund and partners help countries better use the broad support available from the Global Fund to strengthen health systems at the national and community level?

Your answer could include (but does not have to be limited to):

·   Mechanisms (processes, systems, frameworks) to align and harmonize efforts to provide financial support to health systems, whether through disease specific or health sector funding channels;

·   Priority interventions that should be the focus of Global Fund support;

·   Measures (certain limitations, procedures) to ensure that Global Fund support is in addition to, not in place of, national budgets for the improvement of health infrastructure.

 Last week's question

Whereas this week's discussions focus on the above topic, questions from previous weeks will remain open for newcomers to MyGlobalFund. Last week, participants in the forum discussed (click on the link below the question to participate): How could the Global Fund better ensure that countries receive the capacity development support they need for the preparation of proposals and the implementation of programs?

Thank you
for your commitment to the fight against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria!
