    Re: Strengthening Implementation Capacity

Tiffany, I'm not sure what precisely you are asking for here - usually such technical assistance is simply described in the narrative and budgeted as a number of days for consultants. Alternately, some proposals have "contracts" for organizations providing implementation assistance. I think the TRP just wants to see that you 1) identify the need and 2) show that your plan can fill that need. How you explain this is entirely up to you. Odilon

    Re: Strengthening Implementation Capacity

    Dear member,

    thank you for contacting us.

Unfortunately the Global Fund can not give any further information on this, as the Global Fund can not comment on a particular approach, or what might be the benefits of a particular suggestion made. We would recommend that you speak with one of your technical partners in your country, for example, WHO, UNAIDS or a civil society partner that might be available.

    Best regards,

    Strengthening Implementation Capacity

    4.9.6 Strengthening Implementation Capacity

There is a section in the proposal form that encourages applicants to identify needs for management and technical assistance, and to nominate a source for this assistance.

Can you give any advice on how to prepare this section of the proposal? It gives some guidance on what form the assistance should take but not on what information is required in the proposal. We are planning on nominating assistance for a sub recipient for capacity building and technical assistance for implementation. It also does not provide information or guidance on how to budget for this activity.

I have read all information available on the Global Fund site and also consulted the Aidspan Guide, who suggested the FAQ on My Global Fund site.

    Thank you
