Re: CCM participation of civil society and people affected by the diseases

The Global Fund Secretariat will be sending official communication to the CCMs of the affected countries detailing the challenges encountered in the review of their documents for eligibility. A summary of lessons learned from the screening review for eligibility in Round 7 will be shared with CCMs and other stakeholders through the Global Fund website CCM page and the CCM online forum in the coming weeks.

CCM participation of civil society and people affected by the diseases

Global Fund Observer reported yesterday that: "Six proposal components were "screened out" by the Secretariat as ineligible and not even reviewed by the TRP because the CCMs of the countries in question were not in compliance with the Fund's minimum CCM eligibility requirements. These were Brazil (malaria), Republic of Congo (HIV/AIDS, TB, and malaria), and Fiji (HIV/AIDS and TB)."

How can we learn what the issues were or what mistakes were made so we don't repeat them?
