[9 to 16 June] Fourth question on "demand": predictability of resources

Locked Contact

This week on the e-Forum 2008 we continue discussing the theme of Demand and we would like to invite you to share your thoughts and experience on a new question (click on the question to participate):

What could the Global Fund do to ensure better predictability of sustainable funding at the country level in order to allow ambitious scaling-up?

Ambitious, scaled-up programs can only be developed if funding for on-going, successful interventions is assured. Your answer could include (but does not have to be limited to): ways in which the Global Fund could respond to countries' needs of longer-term planning reliability.

Last week's question

Whereas this week's discussions focus on the above topic, questions from previous weeks will remain open for newcomers to MyGlobalFund. Last week, participants in the forum discussed (click on the question to participate):

What aspects of the Global Fund's current processes for accessing funding are preventing adequate scale-up to address the needs?

Thank you for your commitment to the fight against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria!
