    Re: Proposal development

I believe that the most important thing in writing proposals is to be specific toward identifying your goals and objectives so that you make sure that the intended outcomes will be achieved.

    Proposal development

The development of coordinated country proposals is the main avenue for accessing Global Fund financing. To this end CCMs have a direct responsibility in developing proposals that reflect national priorities and take into account the interests of a broad range of stakeholders in a country. Based on experiences to date, CCM proposal development processes remain a challenge for many countries. The process can be a rush hour, endowed with politics, or lacking consultation and coordination. In some cases CCM members are coerced to endorse a proposal even in cases where there are serious disagreements.

Can you share your experiences regarding proposal development? What things worked well? What didn't work so well? What are the lessons learnt for the upcoming round?
